Shipp sets up Chicago Fire beat New York Red Bulls

The Chicago Fire and New York Red Bulls played to an enjoyable and wild match in front of a packed Red Bull stadium on Saturday night, and the guests were the ones who claimed three points with a 5-4 win that saw both sides go through a roller coaster of emotions.

Rookie Harry Shipp lead the way for the Chicago Fire with a three goal, one-assist performance, but red-hot Red Bulls striker Bradley Wright-Phillips reserved his club in it with his second hat trick of the season. That noticeable the first time in MLS history that two players recorded a hat trick in the same Match.

The win was Chicago’s first of the season and improved them to 1-2-6. New York, meanwhile, fell just before 3-3-5 and saw their 13-game regular season home winning streak come to an end.
